2026 City General Election for Council Seats.

The General Election for the City of Brownsboro will be held on May 2, 2026. Filing for a place on the ballot is set by state statute and will run from January 14 to February 16, 2026.  Find additional election-related dates and information at https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/voter/important-election-dates.shtml (posted in accordance with TX. Legis. H.B. 305, effective September 1, 2019).

A candidate must be a resident of the City for at least one year immediately preceding the date of the election, shall be a registered voter of the City of Brownsboro as of the filing deadline, and shall not have been finally convicted of a felony criminal offense.

The general election for members of the City Council is held annually on the 1st Saturday in May, as set as a Texas Uniform Election Date. 

 
 Future Election ( May 2, 2026, General Election). Filing for a place on the ballot is set by state statute and expected to run from January 14 to February 16, 2026.
